The Xiaomi Redmibook 14 Pro (2022) laptop has 5 different versions. In all cases, 2 aspects vary: processor and graphics card.

As for the processor, it can be Intel i5-12450H or Intel i7-12650H or Ryzen R5 or R7. Finally, the graphics card can be NVIDIA GeForce MX550 with 2GB GDDR6 or Intel UHD Graphics for the versions with Intel processor, or the integrated AMD Radeon, in this case inferior to the previous one, for the variant with Ryzen processor.

The Redmibook 14 Pro (2022) from Europe has two processor options. The Intel i5-12450H, combinable with both the dedicated NVIDIA MX550 2GB graphics and the integrated Intel UHD Graphics. The other alternative, the Intel i7-12650H, is only available with the first graphics option.

In more detail, the Intel i5-12450H is the 12th generation of Intel processors, the latest and most powerful to date. It reaches up to 4.4GHz of turbo power, with 3.3GHz of normal. It has 8 cores (octacore) and 12 threads, as well as three-level cache at 12MB.

The other variant, which is the most powerful, has an Intel i7-12650H, also of the latest generation (12th). This reaches 4.7GHz of power in turbo, and 3.5GHz in normal. Also with 10 cores (decacore) and 16 threads, although with a three-level cache at 24MB, compared to the 12MB of the Intel i5.

Within the Ryzen branch, the exact processors used for the Redmibook 14 Pro (2022) are the Ryzen R5-6600H, with up to 4.5GHz, 6 cores (hexacore) and 12 threads. And on the other side, the Ryzen R7-6800H, with up to 4.7GHz, 8 cores (octacore) and 16 threads.

3) Xiaomi Redmibook 14 Pro (2022) graphics card from

The Xiaomi Redmibook 14 Pro (2022) has an NVIDIA GeForce MX550 in its two most powerful versions, with 2GB dedicated GDDR6 compatible with NVIDIA Optimus, with 2048 CUDA cores. In its other case, we find the integrated Intel UHD Graphics card, and the integrated AMD Radeon graphics card for the Ryzen version which is a notable difference compared to the previous one.

So if graphics and gaming are important aspects for you, the Intel version with the NVIDIA GeForce MX550 is your choice. With it you will be able to play virtually all games, even the latest generation ones.

If we still wanted more in this field, we should go for a Redmibook 15 Pro (2022) which carries an NVIDIA GeForce RTX2050 with 4GB dedicated. Or for the Mi Notebook Pro X 15 (2021) which carries an NVIDIA GeForce RTX3050 Ti board with 4GB dedicated.

And if we still wanted more (yes, it is possible) we should already think about a quite different type of notebook from the range of Xiaomi Gaming notebooks where we find graphics cards with up to 6GB dedicated with which, without a doubt, we will be able to play any game with the graphics specifications to the maximum.

On this occasion, Xiaomi has once again pulled out all the stops, and all versions come with 16GB of dual-channel LPDDR5 RAM as standard. This is a clear statement of intent in terms of power and quality, which can be seen in every aspect of this laptop. It also improves to 5200MHz dual-channel, up from 3200Hz in its predecessor, the Redmibook 14 Pro (2021).

5) Storage space of Xiaomi notebook

The Xiaomi Redmibook 14 Pro (2022) laptop has only 512GB SSD PCIe 4.0 storage versions in all cases. Very important to note that this is SSD storage space, something that is starting to become quite common among mid-range and high-end laptops, and of course, in all Xiaomi laptops, which makes the whole computer go much faster. As far as we know so far, it is not expandable.

This is a field where all Xiaomi laptops, especially those launched more recently (from 2018 onwards), stand out enormously. Let’s be clear: if you start looking, you will find another laptop with similar specifications at a technical level. Now, when you ask these ones:

There is a reason why their smartphones have become number 1 in sales in Spain in less than 1 year since they landed here, right? Well now take that, and apply it to their laptops. That said, let’s get down to business.

With a clean and modern finish, made of pure metal to keep the equipment cool at all times and resistant to bumps, drops and scratches, the Xiaomi Redmibook 14 Pro (2022) laptop features, like its predecessor, a 14″ inch screen (which we will talk about in detail in a moment in the next section).

The difference lies in the thin margins of the screen, with an excellent screen-to-space ratio, making the most of the available space and improving its appearance.

As we advanced a moment ago, our favorite laptop has a 14″ inch screen and, as in its previous version, Xiaomi has pulled out all its artillery. For it is not just a high-definition screen, but nothing more and nothing less than a Super Retina display with 4K resolution (2560 x 1600).

It boasts a brightness of up to 300 nits and a contrast ratio of 1000:1, with a refresh rate of 90Hz, adjustable to 60Hz if desired via the Fn + S keyboard combination. The above resolution translates to 216 PPI with a display ratio of 16:10. In addition, this is a ruggedized anti-glare display with 178° viewing angle.

Very interesting are also the extremely thin bezels of just 4.3mm. that give a modern and clean look, and maximizes the screen-to-body ratio to 87.73%.

As far as screen size is concerned (and consequently, size of the entire laptop itself), the Redmibook line, has the widest options in this regard.

It ranges from the 16.1″ of the Redmibook 16, to the 13″, through the Xiaomi Redmibook 13, the Xiaomi Redmibook Air 13, the Xiaomi Redmibook 14, the successor of the latter, the Xiaomi Redmibook 14 II, or the new Redmibook 14 Pro and Redmibook 15 Pro, launched in March 2021.

All other Xiaomi laptops, to date, are 15.6″ (Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 15, Xiaomi Mi Gaming, Xiaomi Redmi G Gaming, etc.), the most common size on the market, with the exception of the older Xiaomi Mi Air 13 and Xiaomi Mi Air 12.5, or the new Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 14, launched in March 2021.
