The Xiaomi Redmibook 14 (2023) laptop has 2 different versions. The only thing that varies is the processor, which can be Intel i5-12500H or Intel i7-12700H.

2) Redmibook 14 (2023) Processor.

The Redmibook 14 (2023) features two processor options. The Intel i5-12500H and Intel i7-12700H, both paired with Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics.

In more detail, the Intel i5-12500H processor uses the Alder Lake microarchitecture and belongs to Intel’s 12th generation of processors, the latest and most powerful to date. It reaches up to 4.5GHz turbo power, with 3.3GHz normal, and has 12 cores, 4 high-performance (P-Cores) and 8 high-efficiency (E-Cores), and 16 threads, as well as three-level cache at 18MB.

The other variant, which is the most powerful, has an Intel i7-12700H, also with Alder Lake microarchitecture and of the latest generation (12th). It reaches 4.7GHz in turbo and 3.5GHz in normal mode, with 14 cores, of which 6 are high-performance (P-Cores) and 8 high-efficiency (E-Cores), and 20 threads, with three-level cache at 24MB.

It is very important to note that this is SSD storage space, something that is starting to become quite common among mid-range and high-end laptops, and of course, in all Xiaomi laptops, which makes the whole computer go much faster. As far as we know so far, it is not expandable.

6) Design of the Xiaomi Redmibook 14 laptop (2023)

This is a field where all Xiaomi laptops, especially those launched more recently (from 2018 onwards), stand out enormously. Let’s be clear: if you start looking, you will find another laptop with similar specifications at a technical level. Now, when you ask these ones:

• • They must have a “transportable” weight (living up to their “portable” name).
  • An elegant, slim, professional, minimalist, subtle design (can you tell I like its design? I’ll stop now, sorry!)
  • And that it is built with premium materials (all-metal).

All this “put together” in the clean and organized way of Xiaomi laptops , you can go quietly at prices ranging from double that of Xiaomi laptops, up to 3-4 times more, being their close cousins the Apple MacBook.

And even so, you will never be able to count on the reliability and confidence that what you have in your hands is a Xiaomi laptop. There is a reason why their smartphones have become number 1 in sales in Europe in less than 1 year since they landed here, right? Well now take that, and apply it to their laptops. That said, let’s get down to business.

As we were saying a moment ago, our favorite laptop has a 14″ inch screen and, as in its previous version, Xiaomi has pulled out all the stops. For it is not just a high-definition screen, but nothing more and nothing less than a Super Retina display with 2.8K resolution (2880 x 1800).

It has a brightness of up to 300 nits, an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a contrast ratio of 1500:1, with a refresh rate of 120Hz and has TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and SGS Low Visual Fatigue certifications.

In terms of screen size (and consequently, size of the entire notebook itself), the Redmibook line currently has 14” and 15.6” models only. 

If you’re looking for something bigger than this, the only option is the Xiaomi Book Pro 16 (2022) and if, on the other hand, you’re looking for something smaller, then the Xiaomi Book Air 13 (2022).
