Book Pro 14 and Book Pro 16: Xiaomi laptops worldwide

We are here in front of the two most recent laptops of the entire Xiaomi line. Part of the Book Pro line, revolutionary for its OLED touchscreens and state-of-the-art processors.

We can say that the Book Pro is here to stay, both the Book Pro 14 and its more powerful and larger version, the Book Pro 16.

Protagonists of a great evolution for its innovative OLED touch screens, with a wide color scale and better brightness than any other laptop. Also with the inclusion of the latest version of AMD's AM4 chip (Ryzen 6000U) or the newest Intel, generation 12 (Alder Lake).

Moving on to the display, the Book Pro 14 features a 14″ inch Super Retina OLED touchscreen display in 2.8K resolution, while the Book Pro 16 has the same display but at 16″ inches and in 4K resolution. Yes, this is the first Xiaomi laptop to feature a 4K display, the most premium personal use resolution.

The smaller Book Pro 14 has 5 versions, 3 with Intel processors and 2 with AMD Ryzen. In the case of Intel, there is the i5-1240P option, either with Intel Iris Xe graphics or an integrated NVIDIA GeForce MX550 GPU, and the i7-1260P option, which has a powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 graphics card.

For the Ryzen versions the difference is found only in the processor, as the graphics will always be the reliable AMD Integrated Graphics. The first option has a Ryzen 6600H, while the other comes with a 6800H, which is significantly faster.

On the other hand, the larger Book Pro 16 (which, let's remember, comes with 4K and a larger screen) only offers, for the moment, Intel options. The first option again brings the i5-1240P but only with Intel Iris Xe graphics, while the second option (it is worth clarifying that it is the best performing Book Pro) features an i7-1260P and only the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 GPU.

Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro: Xiaomi laptops

The arrival worldwide of Xiaomi laptops implies, more concretely, the arrival of all its flagship and company. For example, the well-known laptop Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro, which just in March 2021 launched its new versions.

Both the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 15 (2021) Laptop and the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 14 (2021) Laptop were launched. Being the latter, a new measure that surprised us all, and that can be very useful for those who need that extra mobility and comfort, but always with the highest performance of a Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro Xiaomi.

Regarding the latter, if we look at Google searches, it is funny to see how people search for it, with a wide variety of names. Here are some of them: xiaomi pro laptop, xiaomi mi pro laptop, xiaomi notebook pro, xiaomi mi notebook pro, xiaomi laptop pro, etc.

And it is normal, because, despite its huge fame, the fact that Xiaomi laptops had never before reached the world market officially, always gave rise to confusion. In the absence of reliable data directly from the manufacturer, having to look and rely on unofficial websites, at best, but in Chinese.

Xiaomi Redmibook Laptop: the new line of best sellers

Redmibook Air 13: Xiaomi laptops worldwide

This updated version is very, VERY thin. It weighs 1.05kg and has a thickness of 12.99mm, something amazing. With a battery that reaches 11.5 hours of use, and a 2.5K screen.

It is the ideal companion for any professional or student who travels constantly. They can use their work companion (yes, the Xiaomi laptop) during these journeys. Whether by train, bus, plane, or while waiting for any of the above.

Redmibook 14 Pro (2021) and Redmibook 15 Pro (2021): Xiaomi Laptops worldwide

The Xiaomi Redmibook 14 Pro and Redmibook 15 Pro laptops. I can already tell you: they are the absolute stars of the moment. Launched in March 2021, right now they have no competitor, not even among the Xiaomi laptops themselves.

It is true that they are somewhat more expensive, but the difference in performance far outweighs the difference in price. So if you need a high-power and high-end computer, in every way, with no margin for error, this is yours.

 

 

The most powerful next-generation processors, 2.5K (for the 14 Pro) and 3.2K (for the 15 Pro) Super Retina displays. Backlit keyboard. Fingerprint unlocking. And both over 1.5kg.

Both feature 5 versions, one with Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics with Intel i5, two others with NVIDIA GeForce MX450 2GB integrated graphics, both on Intel i5 and i7. And, as a novelty, two more with Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7 processors and AMD Radeon Graphics integrated graphics.

It should be noted that the Xiaomi Redmibook 15 Pro laptop is slightly superior to the 14 Pro, since it has a little more space, the class of processors is superior, the screen is slightly better, and something else, but on a minimal scale.

Redmibook 14 Pro (2022) and Redmibook 15 Pro (2022):Xiaomi Laptops worldwide

The new versions of the Redmibook series introduced power improvements over their predecessors. Those Redmibooks are becoming Xiaomi's most popular and best-selling laptops. They fit everything the average user needs, at a comically low price, with excellent features, design and mobility.

In terms of the display, both laptops have the same features as the 2021 versions (seen above here). Both are 2.5K (14 Pro) and 3.2K (15 Pro) Super Retina IPS displays.

Another new feature is the inclusion of versions with AMD's innovative Ryzen processors. Let's see what the new flagships of the Redmibook range bring.

The 14 Pro comes with 5 versions, 3 with Intel and 2 with Ryzen.

For the blue team, we have two versions that bring the latest generation i5-12450H processor, one with Intel Iris Xe graphics while the other with the powerful NVIDIA GeForce MX550 integrated graphics, present in Xiaomi's 2022 range. The more powerful version uses the aforementioned MX550, but with a faster i7-12650H processor.

For both offerings of the red team we find the AMD Integrated Graphics, either with the Ryzen 5 6600H or the more powerful Ryzen 7 6800H. Needless to say, these versions have the cheapest offers of the entire Redmibook line.

The 15 Pro comes in 7 versions, 3 with Intel and 4 with Ryzen.

The Intel options are similar to those of the 14 Pro: two i5-12450H versions, one with Intel Iris Xe graphics but the other with the powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 dedicated graphics designed for gaming. The version with the top-end i7-12650H processor is only available with the aforementioned RTX 2050, making it the fastest Redmibook so far along with the top-of-the-line Ryzen we'll mention below.

About them, we have the same two propositions as the 14 Pro, AMD Integrated Graphics with the Ryzen 5 6600H or the more powerful Ryzen 7 6800H. But, in a turn towards better proposals, Xiaomi added two more options with those two Ryzen processors: both have the powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050.

The version with the Ryzen 5 6600H and the RTX 2050 is a good intermediate option, with great graphics power and a mid-range processor, enough for most modern video games.

Now, if what you're interested in is better overall performance for your gaming sessions, you'll have to buy the option of that RTX 2050 with the i7 or Ryzen 7, the two most powerful Redmibook laptops to date.

 

Mi Notebook Pro 15 (2021): Xiaomi Laptop worldwide

If there is a Xiaomi laptop that is "THE" Xiaomi laptop, it is the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro.

 

 

 

The thing is, in the case of the Xiaomi Redmibook 15 Pro laptop we are already talking about a 3.2K Super Retina, which is impressive. Now, with the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 15 (2021) laptop, we have a 3.5k OLED. 600 nits. 261 PPI. Corning Gorilla Glass, and so on. Something never seen before.

Also, we suspect that beyond what the data sheet says, there must be something else that sets it apart. But on paper, that's all there is. So you decide: can you afford it? No doubt about it, this one. Is the screen quality top for you? Also this one. None of the above? Then a Redmibook.

 

 

Mi Notebook Pro X 15: Xiaomi Laptop worldwide

The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 15 (2021) is the flagship model of the Mi Notebook family. The most famous and best performing ultrabook-style Xiaomi laptops.

With this new version of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro, the top model among all Xiaomi laptops, is how Xiaomi seeks to set the trend in the field of ultrabooks, with some of the most advanced features seen so far in a laptop of this type, so thin and weighting just 1.9kg.

 

 

The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 15 (2021) has an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, with 4GB of video memory, our best offer aside from the very powerful RTX 3060 of the Redmi G. As we said moments ago, this is the other edition of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro's last update, the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 14. It's an excellent alternative to the usually big laptops of the Mi line.

If you want a 14 inch laptop, this is one of the best option you can have. The same question as with the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 15 and Redmibook 15 Pro arises: is this enough to justify its price premium?

 

 

In this case, there's something that tips the scale in the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 14's favour when compared to the Redmibook 14 Pro: the processor.

Both laptops offer Intel i5 and i7 processors, but the Mi has a processor from Intel's H class, notably more powerful than the Redmibook 14 Pro's G class. Besides, the price difference between the 14s is not as steep as the 15s.

 

 

Mi Notebook Pro X 14: Xiaomi Laptop worldwide

If we told you that the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 14 is one of the best 14 inch options in the business, that's because the Pro X 14 is THE best option within the range.

This laptop is basically an improved, more powerful version of the Pro 14. It's less powerful twin has a fairly standard 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX450 GPU, the Pro X 14 sports a powerful 4GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050. With such graphics card you can play most, if not all new games, in mid to high settings.

 

 

You can post the same question as before: should I buy this laptop instead of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 15, Redmibook 15 Pro or Redmi G?

This laptop is a very interesting proposal among Xiaomi laptops, with an interesting gaming design that features a backlit keyboard, big fans and a stylish cover. With a powerful processor and a more powerful GPU, this power intensive laptop is great for gaming.

The rugged, aggresive style is setup in a way for Xiaomi to install all the power inside. Given that we expect you to play your favorite news games with it, Xiaomi has to make the laptop big. It has massive fans that keep it very cool.

 

The all-powerful Redmi G is a big statement by the folks at Xiaomi: sporting a very fast NVIDIA GeForce GTX 3060 GPU you can play any new game in high to ultra settings. A graphics card of this kind will give you  access to the best, most realistic games.

With a 165Hz display (i.e. capable of displaying 165 FPS) ideal for competitive gaming, the fluidity and quality of this panel is the highest in the entire Xiaomi range, far surpassing the previous 144Hz of the old Xiaomi Gaming range.

Following the future, the Redmi G is only offered with graphics cards with Ray Tracing and NVIDIA DLSS technologies, the new standard set by NVIDIA for graphics processing. Capable of better reflecting light to give a more realistic image quality, this type of "NVIDIA RTX" graphics cards are the most powerful in the world.

As for the processor, there are only offers with 12th generation Intel processors, the latest and most powerful so far.
